Ralph Smart, 90 years of Seaman, died Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Clermont Mercy Hospital..

He was born at West Union, OH on March 13, 1914 the son of John H. and Mary E. Wylie Smart.

He was a member of the May Hill Church of Christ were he served as Elder and Sunday School Teacher for many years and recent years he attended the Seaman Church of Christ, Graduate of Seaman High School in the class of 1932 were he served on the Board of Education for many years, retired from the US Postal Service and Farming.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Vanzant Smart on June 25, 2004, five brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Deborah Smart of Kissimme, FL, two daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and John McKamey of Leesburg, Dorothy and Eddie Geeslin of Seaman, nine grandchildren, Greg Tosca Geeslin, Ted Sandy Geeslin, Deric Leeanna McKamey, Brad Lori McKamey, Julie Michael Alfieri, Marla Chris Young, Ronda Eli Westfall, Keri Justin Halleck, Ryan Smart, fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the Seaman Church of Christ with Ernie Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Coss Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the Seaman Church of Christ and on Tuesday morning one hour prior to service time at 10:00 A.M. at the Church.
