Ralph Lawrence Wolf, 87 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, October 5, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Warren County, Ohio on February 10, 1920 the son of the late Chester A. and Grace Griswald Wolf.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He retired in 1985 from Milacron in Mount Orab. He was a member of the Edenton and Buford United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School and was Superintendent for many years. He attended the Bible Believers Baptist Church in later years. He loved working in his Irises.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, John Wolf.
He was united in marriage on August 12, 1950 to Anna Mae Weaver Wolf, who survives. He is also survived by one daughter, Leona Singleton of Hillsboro, five sisters-in-law, Alice Pringle, Luella Pursley, Ruth Barber, Martha Hollar, Doris Summers, two grandchildren, Philip Kari Singleton of Hillsboro, Lora Amon Dobbins of Canal Winchester, and three great grandchildren, DeVaughn, Christopher, and Lilli Dobbins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery in Newtonsville, Ohio, with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 till 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
