Ramona Hunter, 88 years of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018.
Ramona was born August 4, 1930 in Kings Mills, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert Jennings McNeil and Myrtle (Emery) McNeil.
On March 13, 1955 Ramona was joined in marriage with Wilson Hunter who passed away February 7, 1989.
Ramona graduated in 1948 from Hillsboro High School and received her Associate's degree from Southern State. She retired from Hillsboro City Schools. Ramona was a member of Hillsboro Church of Christ, served on the board at Little Lamb Christian Preschool and Hillsboro Mothers Club.
Ramona is survived by her two daughters, Sandra (Larry) Nartker of Hillsboro and Sharon (Dan) Knisley of Okeana,OH, grandchildren, Shay (Katie McCue) Nartker, Bryce (Samantha) Nartker, Josiah Knisley, Zachary (Natalie) Knisley and Micah (Hannah Whitehurst) Knisley, sister Shirley (Dwight) Allman of Johnson City, TN and two nephews, Richard (Cindy) Allman of Scottsburg, IN and Roger (Jane) Allman of Johnson City, TN.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Hillsboro Church of Christ. Dan Knisley and Tom Napier will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Prospect Cemetery.
Friends and family can visit 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio.
