Randy Allen Rhoads, 28 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, June 18, 2001 as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Wilmington, Ohio on August 13, 1972 the son of James William and Elizabeth Mae Powell Rhoads of Hillsboro.
He was a graduate of Whiteoak High School.
Beside his parents he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Leona Powell of Hillsboro, paternal grandfather, Joseph William Rhoads of Hillsboro, brother, James Williams Rhoads, Jr. of Hillsboro, three sisters, Cynthia Rhoads of Hillsboro, Carolyn Jane Rhoads of Phoenix, Arizona, Karen Sue Phillips of Mowrystown, four nieces, Ashley Rhoads, Elizabeth Jackson, Rachel Aycock, Sandra Phillips, nephew, Jonathon Jackson, great nephews and niece, Travis, Branden, Brittany Phillips, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Allan Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
