Randy Joseph Taylor, 51 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his residence.
He was born at Greenfield on March 22, 1961 the son of the late Andy Taylor and Mildred Kenney Bloomfield of Hillsboro. Beside his father he was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Ann Caulley Taylor, one sister Tamara Brunner
He was a Army Veteran and a Welder by trade.
Beside his mother he is survived by his Fiancee Nan Adkins of Hillsboro; daughter, Sarah Jessica Taylor at home, step daughter, Natalie Adkins of Lynchburg; two step sons, Matt Peters of Lynchburg, John Peters of Greenfield; two brothers, Andy Taylor of Hillsboro, Samuel Bloomfield of Hillsboro; two sisters, V. Joanne Ray Heyob of Hillsboro, Katerine Jesse Green of Sabina; brother in law, Harry "Butch" Brunner III of Winchester: 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Judi Wiley Officiating. Burial will follow in the Fincastle Cemetery with military gravesides rites by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 AM till service time at 1:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
