Ray M. Storer, Sr., 93 years of Sinking Spring, OH, died Saturday, April 5, 2003 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on July 22, 1909, the son of the late Seybert A. and Elizabeth P. Shelby Storer. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby P. Boldman Storer on May 9, 1988, son Ray M. Storer, Jr., two grandchildren Cindy and Mike Storer, one brother Estel Storer and one sister Olive Blanton.
Ray was a member of the Sinking Spring United Methodist Church and the Highland County Senior Citizens. He was a retired farmer and caretaker of Woodland Altars.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Robert and Barbara Storer of Xenia, daughter and son-in-law Dorothy and Donald Everetts of Dayton, daughter-in-law Mae Belle Storer of Peebles, two brothers Lewis and Paul Storer of West Carrollton, sister Wilma Kohake of Union, three grandchildren, Randy Lois Storer of Hillsboro, Tim Everetts of Dayton, Tracy Jeff Lorenz of Xenia; four great grandchildren, Kim Sult, Danielle Lorenz, Chad and Shannon Storer; 7 great great grandchildren, Jacob Edward and Christian James Sult, Cameron Esteen, Eden Rayne, Elijah Carey, Rebekah Kaye and Victoria Faith Storer .
Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, Ohio. Rev. Randy and Rev. Lois Storer will co-officiate with burial to follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
