Ray K. Wells, 77 years of Sabina, OH., died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH.
He was born February 23, 1931 in New Boston, OH, the son of the late Wilson and Anna B. Bahan Wells. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Barnes Wells on October 17, 1999, three sons, Paul, Gerald and Jerald Wells, one brother Pete Wells and one sister Libby Holt.
Ray owned and operated Ray Wells Plumbing in Wilmington until his retirement.
He is survived 10 sons, David Wells of KY., James Thomas Wells of KY., Joseph Wells of OH., Tony Davis of OH., Ralph Davis of AL., James Davis of OH., Kevin Wells of FL., Michael Wells of FL., Pete Wells of OH., Wilson Wells of FL.; two daughters, Ruth Wells of OH. and Debbie Blake of N.H.; one sister, Cora Thompson of Highland, OH.; 29 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Rev. Wiley Perkins will officiate with burial to follow in the Rabbit Hash Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
