Raymond Coleman

Raymond Coleman, 93 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Friday June 24, 2016 at the Crestwood Nursing Home.
He was born in Murphysboro, IL on December 11, 1922, the son of the late John and Anna (Vogt) Coleman. Besides his parents, he was also preceded by his wife, Albertine Cole on February 2, 2007, brother, John Coleman and great grandchild Christopher Attig.
Raymond served in the United States Navy during WWII, was a member of the St. Peter's United Church of Christ and the American Legion VFW Post#127 Illinois.
Raymond is survived by two sons, Allen (Margaret) Coleman of Hillsboro and Raymond "Freddie" Coleman of Hillsboro, four grandchildren, Kelly (Nick) Labeye, Timothy (Amanda) Coleman, Jamie (Michael Saunders) Burton and Jason (April) Coleman, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
