Raymond Dillard, 89 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, August 18, 2002 at the Fairfax Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia.
He was born in Fayette County, Ohio on September 20, 1912 the son of the late Thurman and Delila Smith Dillard.
He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. He drove a school bus for Hillsboro City Schools for eight years. He retired from Hillsboro Parts.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Catharine Hixson Dillard on February 21, 1999 and 3 grandchildren.
He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara J. & R.F. Pickert of Sanford, Maine, Beverly and Herbert Rhoads of Hillsboro, Brenda and Siegal Burba of Springfield, Virginia, eleven grandchildren, Linda Kelley, Randall Kim Smith, Pamela Robert Zettergren, Lori Timothy Leibreich, Melanie Rhoads, Michael Mary Rhoads, Derek Debra Burba, Angela Thomas, Deron Stacy Burba, Anita Michael Tolliver, Andrea James Patterson, twenty great grandchildren, Julie And Sharon Colello, Alec, Nicky and Jacob Smith, Melissa Zettergren, Ryan and Reese Leibreich, Kimberly Rhoads, Jennifer and Jessica Burba, Heather and Travis Thomas, Cassie, Spencer and Sean Burba, Amanda and Allyson Patterson, Jonathan and Justin Tolliver, two half- sisters, Mary Joe Fraysier of Hillsboro and Florence Hugh Swearingen of Millerstown, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the
Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral.
