RAYMOND E. GLEADLE, 96 years of Hillsboro, Died Sunday, February 04, 2007 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
He was born February 28, 1910 near Rainsboro, Ohio, the son of the late Charles Harvey and Nonie Chloe Houser Gleadle.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Ruth Winkle Gleadle on January 31, 1984; one daughter Deborah Gleadle; five sisters, Viola Truitt, Audrey Clark, Clara Sharp, Alberta Collins, Ocie Overly; five brothers, Russell, Eldon, Waldo, Walter and Richard Gleadle.
Raymond was a member of the Hillsboro First Baptist Church, retired from White?s Foundry in Hillsboro, served 13 years in the National Guard and was a member of the Highland County Senior Citizens.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Linda Gleadle of Hillsboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Robert Williams of Hillsboro, Beverly and Jim Tucker of Hillsboro; six grandchildren, Deborah Wayne Johnson, Tracy Ron Bradshaw, James Lindsey Tucker, Jr., Steve Michelle Tucker, Mark Robin Gleadle, Brent Melissa Gleadle; nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Todd Toole officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
