Raymond E. Jones

Raymond E. Jones, 72 years of Peebles, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
He was born in Tuscarawas, Ohio on November 25, 1933 the son of the late Robert and Mary Thomas Jones.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked for Massillin Steel.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna M. Davis Jones, who passed away on December 17, 2003, and three sons, Raymond, Mike, and Mark Jones.
He is survived by six sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Ruby Jones of Peebles, Rory and Melinda Jones of Peebles, Quint Jones of Peebles, Richard and Jonda Jones of Peebles, Tyrone and Tammy Jones of Clarksville, David Jones of Peebles, two daughters, Ramone Jim Evans Rein of Peebles, Melody Johnny Barrett Jones of Peebles, three brothers, Kenneth Jones, Bob Jones, Mike Thomas, four sisters, Thelma Davis, Bonnie Doyle, Jane Gardner, Mary Jane, twenty-four grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Bruce McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Peach Mountain Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
