Rex Ison, 68 years of Bainbridge, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Morgan County, Kentucky on September 9, 1937 the son of the late John Franklin and Mary Jane Keaton Ison.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Amber and Stephanie Ison, four brothers, Estell, Walter, Leslie, and Willard Ison, and two sisters, Hazel Gilliam and Irene Ison.
He was united in marriage on August 20, 1960 to Janis Tolle Ison, who survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Beverly Ison of Bainbridge, daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Stanley Morrison of Frankfort, Ohio, sisters and brothers-in-law, Bertie and Wesley Shoemaker of Bainbridge, Carrie Gillium of Elliott County, Kentucky, Addie Keaton of Morgan County, Kentucky, Maevene and Thomas Atkinson of Trenton, Ohio, and grandchildren, Wade Frankie Morrison, Amy Morrison, and Patrick Ison.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Westwood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
