Richard "Iron Mike" Barger, 71 years of Sardinia, passed away on Tuesday August 8, 2023.
He was born in South Bend, IN on August 25, 1951, the son of the late Richard and Imogene (Tucker) Barger. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his baby sister, Debbie Barger.
Mike was a member of the AQHA and New Life Ministry.
Mike is survived by his wife, Cindy (Norris) Barger, daughter, Amanda Sutphin of LaFontaine, IN, sons, Jason Brueggen of Williamsburg, Derek Brueggen of Glen Burnie, MD and Matthew Brueggen of Florence, KY, 12 grandchildren, siblings, Pam Rospopo, Sue Barger and Steve Barger and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
