Richard C. Behymer

Richard C. Behymer was born January 28, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents Harris and Ethel Behymer.
He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1944 and was drafted into the service spending two years in the Army Air Force. After discharge in 1946 he enrolled in The Ohio State University from which he graduated in 1951 with a BS in electrical engineering. He worked for General Electric until 1958 at which time he returned to the Ohio area and worked at Wright- Patterson Air Force Base. He received his MS in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University in 1968.
He is survived by his cousin Charles Behymer and family in Abingdon, Virginia, cousin Rita Grau in Cincinnati and too many special friends to be mentioned, in addition to very good friends Juraj and Martina Chochol, Bratislava, Slovakia and their extended families who are very much like family.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2008 from 5:00 till 7:00 PM at Bethany Village, Pavilion Activity Center, Far Hills Avenue State Route 48 in Centerville, Ohio.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillsboro Cemetery with John Porter officiating.
Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
