Richard Dick Fettro

Richard C. "Dick" Fettro, 68 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday June 9, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Hillsboro on December 31, 1945, the son of the late Hugh and Elva Evans Fettro. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Donald Pelfrey and mother-in-law Irene Parr.
Dick was a member of the Hillsboro 1st United Methodist Church, retired from General Motors, and was a member of the Ohio National Guards in Hillsboro.
He is survived by his wife Mary Parr Fettro whom he married on December 20, 1968, two daughters, Kathy Jevin Watson of Hillsboro and Julie Tom Pence of Hillsboro; brother Harry Fettro of Hillsboro; sister Janet Pelfrey of Hillsboro and six grandchildren; Jenika, Kennedy and Joby Watson and Christopher, Emily and Nicholas Pence; father-in-law Willard Parr.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday June 12, 2014 at the Hillsboro Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
