Richard S. Fristoe

Richard S. Fristoe, 89 years of Peebles, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on October 7, 1916 the son of the late Paul and Phoebe Storer Fristoe.
He was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church, where he was a Trustee and Deacon, the Angus Association, and was an auctioneer for many years.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Mark and John Fristoe.
He was united in marriage on July 8, 1940 to Bess Stewart Fristoe, who survives. He is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Sue Fristoe of Peebles, Reggie and Sherri Fristoe of Tennessee, eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Evergreen Baptist Church with Bud Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
