Richard Patterson, 75 years of West Union, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on June 18, 1934 the son of the late Harvey and Charlene Arnett Patterson.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Mapel Eblen Patterson and one sister; Jolene Gregory.
Richard was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church of Atlanta, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of the American Legion Post #888.
He is survived by his second wife Joyce Slack Patterson of West Union and one sister; Judy Patterson of Washington Court House.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Floral Hills Memory Garden in Circleville with Pastor Tony Jarren officiating; the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
