Richard Herman Seitz, Jr., 88 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the Highland District Hospital.
He retired from the U.S. Navy, serving during W.W. II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of F.O.E. Aerie #361 Hillsboro, F.O.E. Aerie 2193 Mt. Healthy, AMVETS Post 61 Hillsboro.
He is survived by one step son Michael Mathews, two step daughters; Dixie Manning and Shirley Vicars; one brother, George Seitz of Corpus Christi, TX; one sister, Ann R. Coston of St.Simons Island, GA.; special friend, Dena Thompson
According to Richard's request, he was cremated. No visitation or services are scheduled.
Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
