Richard L. Taylor, 60 years of Peebles Latham Community, died Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at his residence.
He was born December 17, 1948 in Rarden, Ohio, the son of the late Delbert L. Windel and Hazel Taylor Howard of Sinking Spring, Ohio. Richard was a trucker driver and served his country in the US Army during the Viet-Nam Era.
He was preceded in death by one daughter Jill Taylor.
Beside his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Laura Wingo of Gainesville, GA., Amanda Young of Fort Carson, CO., Emily Taylor of Gainesville, GA.; three grandsons, Gunner Young, Fisher Young, Taylor Wingo; one brother Troy Howard of Sinking Spring, OH.; four sisters, Rosemary Warden of TX., Barbara Hoople of McDermont, OH., Virgie Howard of Hillsboro, OH., Evelyn Osborne of Sinking Spring, OH.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring, OH. where friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
Military Rites will be conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard following the funeral services at the funeral home.
