Rick Nichols, 56 years of Pike County, died Wednesday January 30, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Ironton, Ohio on June 7, 1956, the son of the late Chester Nichols and Violet Rhoden Nichols Kerns of Latham. He was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Rhoden.
Beside his mother he is survived by his wife, Mary Stone Nichols whom he married on June 1, 1990, three sons, Jason Erica Nichols of Latham, Travis Amber Nichols of Latham, and Ray Nichols of Latham, four daughters, Alicia Randy Sands of Newton Falls, Ohio; Elizabeth Nichols of Latham, Amber Nichols of Hillsboro, and Amanda Nichols of Latham, five brothers, David Nichols of Tipp City, Alfred Nichols of Latham, Darrell Nichols of Latham, Mark Nichols of North Carolina, and John Nichols of Hillsboro, two sisters, Cindy Stephens of Hillsboro, and Loretta Nichols of Latham, and 9 Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday February 4, 2013 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring. Burial will follow at the Lapperell Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday February 3, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. till 4:00P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
