Ricky Lee Rhoads, Sr., 53 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Fremont, Ohio on May 21, 1953 the son of the late Chester and Martha Barney Rhoads.
He was a member of the Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1161.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Sue Stull Rhoads, who passed away August 1, 2001, one son, Ricky Rhoads, Jr., who passed away September 6, 2002, three brothers, Truman Lee, Scott A. and Chuck Rhoads, and one sister, Judy Ann Rhoads.
He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Judy and Craig Short of Columbus, Betty "Peanut" Rhoads of Highland, one brother, Bobby Rhoads of Fremont, and seven sisters, Patty "Tootie" Floriana of Hillsboro, Betty Peck of Fremont, Ruth Floriana of Indiana, Mary Fell of Indiana, Barb Mynette of Indiana, Debbie McCoy of Indiana, and Susie McCoy of Indiana.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Alan Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
