Rita J. Lowe, 66 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday March 14, 2021.
She was born in Hillsboro on March 10, 1955, the daughter of the late Martin Byrd and Goldie (Goble) Harless. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by her son, Clinton P. Lowe, III, brother, Roger Harless and sister, Janet Carmean.
Rita graduated from Hillsboro High School, worked at Hobart Corp. and Kroger and was a member of the Northview Baptist Church.
Rita is survived by her husband, Clinton P. Lowe, Jr. they were married on October 1, 1972, two daughters, Jennifer (Anthony) Ritter of Hillsboro and Cynthia (Jason) Karnes of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Christopher, Breanna and Madison Karnes, Adah Carrozza, Allison Ritter and Jacob Parker, brothers, Delbert (Carol) Harless, Ronald (Breva) Harless, Arthur (Brenda) Harless and Robert (Helen Scott) Harless, all of Hillsboro, sisters, Judy (Jospeh) Akers of Florida, Atla (Fred) Kidder of Hillsboro and Brenda (Robert) Nahrwold of Pennsylvania and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday March 23, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of services on Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
