Rita Michael, 92 years of West Union, died Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Majestic, Kentucky on February 28, 1913 the daughter of the late K.D. and Betty Blankenship Dotson.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Acey L. Michael, who passed away in 1987, son, Danny L. Michael, daughter, Mary E. Spires, and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by five grandchildren, Barry Storer of West Union, D. Wade Michael of Wilmington, Lisa Michael of Batavia, Nick Spires of Charlotte, North Carolina, Aaron Michael of Wilmington, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Keith Mapes officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh
Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
