Robert Leland Bob Black, 76 years of Winchester, died Saturday, September 7, 2002 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
He was born July 22, 1926 in Brown County, Ohio, the son of the late Ezra Wilson and Amy Laurel Cooper Black.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Bob was a member of the U.A.W. Local 863 and had retired from Ford Motor Company at Batavia, Ohio.
He was united in marriage July 13, 1946 to Emma Jane Fithen Black who survives. He is also survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Karen Marie and David C. Klein of Cincinnati, Ohio, Barbara Ann Black of Batavia, Ohio, one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Wayne and Donna Fay Black of Wichita, Kansas; two brothers, Ezra Wilson Black, Jr. of Russellville, Ohio and Elmer Earl Black of Georgetown, Ohio, one sister, Ruth Wagner of Macon, Ohio, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery at Russellville, Ohio.
Friends may call Monday from 6-9 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home.
Family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or the Winchester Life Squad.
