Robert "Bob" E. Garman, of Hillsboro, OH, entered eternal rest on August 7, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on December 16, 1941, Bob's life was a testament to service and community.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mabel "Christine" Garman and his wife, Nancy Garman on August 28, 2023.
A devoted member of the Belfast Church of Grace, formally known as the Belfast United Methodist Church, Bob's faith guided his actions and strengthened his relationships with those around him. He dedicated 17 years as a 4H advisor, nurturing the growth and development of countless young individuals. Bob's passion for antique tractors led him to become a cherished member of the Highland Co. Antique Tractor Club, where his enthusiasm and knowledge were shared with fellow enthusiasts.
Having been the former owner of the Belfast Feed Mill, Bob's commitment to his work and community was evident in all aspects of his life. His legacy of hard work, integrity, and generosity will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bob is survived by his loving daughters Jeanette (Ron) Crawford of Hillsboro and Melanie (Larry) Anderson of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Justin Anderson, Jacob (Caitlin) Anderson, Sarah (Bobby) Bell , Megan (Aaron) Apgar and Rachel (LT) Tyler, 12 great grandchildren, 1 step great great grandchild, brothers, Lesley (Vivian) Garman of Hillsboro and David (Patsy) Garman of Seaman, and a host of friends, who will carry on his spirit of compassion and service.
Funeral services and ceremonies to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at the Thompson Funeral Home where friends and family will gather to honor his memory and legacy. May his kindness and dedication continue to inspire those who knew him in the days ahead. Burial will follow at the Prospect Cemetery.
