Robert A. "Bob" Burkard, 71 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday October 27, 2013.
He was born in Wooster, Ohio on May 6, 1942, son of the late John C. and Helen H. Schlotterbeck Burkard. Besides his parents he was also preceded by three brothers, Gary, Karl and Neal Burkard.
Robert retired from the Mead Company in Washington Court House and loved fishing and wildlife.
He is survived by two brothers Richard Carolyn Burkard of Hillsboro and David Glenna Burkard of Hillsboro, three nieces, two nephews, one great niece, one great nephew and six great great nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be 1:30 P.M. on Friday November 1, 2013 at the New Market Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
