Robert T. ?Speed? Carroll, 83 years of Sinking Spring, died Monday, October 1, 2001 at his residence.
He was born in Pike County on March 16, 1918 the son of William F. and Bessie Lee Brown Carroll.
He was retired from Moore Drop Forge and was a Avid Hunter and Fisherman.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one son Rick Carroll, one grandson David Carroll, three brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife Tootie Garman Carroll whom he married on November 6.

son-in-law, Joyce and Wendell Sparks of Hillsboro six grandchildren, Sharon Beth Maxwell, Amber David Mustafaga, Shane, Adam, Alan and Aric Carroll, two great grandchildren, Logan Maxwell and Cameron Mustafaga, one brother, Thomas Carroll of Hillsboro, two sisters, Betty Robinson of Hillsboro, Garnett Nace of Hillsboro.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wylie-
Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Wayne Edingfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson
Funeral Home.
