Robert E. "Bob" Cox, 75 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday July 25, 2016.
He was born in Adams County on December 18, 1940, the son of the late John and Minnie (Thompson) Cox. Besides his parents he was also preceded by his wife, Nancy Cox, three brothers, Paul, George and Donnie Cox and four sisters, Nellie Cox, Carolyn Ann Wooton, Helen Hise and Gladys Rader.
Bob is survived by his three sons, Bobby Cox, Jr. of Libby, MT, Richard Cox of Milwaukee, WI and Michael Cox of Colorado, four daughters, Inez "Dee" Cox of Fairborn, Dorothy (Bart) Taylor of Washington, Anna Pauline Dalton of Washington and Tracy Cox of North Carolina, brother, Dale (Wilma) Cox of Bainbridge, two sisters, Dorothy Arledge of Hillsboro and Pauline (Wayne) Arledge of Hillsboro, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday July 28, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home, with a burial at Dunkard Ridge Cemetery to follow.
Friends may call at the Funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday July 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
