Robert Stephen "Steve" Cox, 64 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday August 2, 2021.
He was born in Hillsboro on July 6, 1957, the son of the late Robert Cox and Arlene (Yarger) Cox of Marshall.
Steve was a carpenter and a roofer. He was a long-time member of Eagles and served seven years in the Ohio National Guard. Steve loved to ride motorcycles, spend time with his friends and family, and watch M.A.S.H.
Besides his mother, Steve is survived by a son Steven Christ of Mt. Orab, a brother Jeff (Teresa) Cox of Hillsboro, two sisters Kellie (Jeff) Yochum of Hillsboro, and Melissa (Anton) DeFrancesco of Florida, nieces and nephews: Josh (Sarah) Cox, Corey (Amy) Cox, Hannah (Ben) Barnett, Jalyn (Ryan) Lemaster, Marina & Ava Defrancesco, Cam & Clarie Cox, several cousins, and his good friend Bobby Pegan.
Graveside Services will be held Sunday August 8th at 1:00 P.M. at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
