Robert E. "Bobby" Deaton, 86 of Greenfield, OH., passed away Saturday February 13, 2021.
Bobby was born January 9, 1934 in Manchester, KY., the son of the late Lloyd and Anna (Jones) Deaton. Beside his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Bill and Paul Deaton; three sisters, Rosie Hix, Dorothy Brock and Mary Lakes.
Bobby attended the International Pentecostal Church and retired from the Nicolett Paper Company in Hamilton, Ohio.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Jewell Ann (Stapleton) Deaton; one son, Keith (Alicia) Deaton of Mt. Healthy, OH.; one step son, Randy (Denise) Adams of Leesburg, OH.; two grandsons, Josh Deaton and Nathan Deaton; one step granddaughter, Katelyne Adams; four great grandchildren, Joshua Michael Deaton, Hayley Deaton, Jamison Deaton and Cecelia Deaton; two brothers, Sheby Deaton and Jimmy Deaton of KY.; two sisters, Bonnie Bishop of KY. and Judy Anderson of IN.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Pastor Wayne Combs will officiate with burial to follow in the Gilboa Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
