Robert E. Henize, 78 years of Seaman, Ohio, Sunday, August 28, 2005 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, Ohio.
Robert was born July 28, 1927 at Locust Grove, Ohio, the son the late Samuel and Mary Dugan Henize. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Ray and Harold Pete Henize.
Robert was a lifelong farmer and operated the Henize Electrical Service. He served on the Adams County Fair Board, Wilson Children?s Home Board, 4H Advisor, Dairy Service Unit and was a competitor at the 1957 World?s Plowing Match at Peebles.
Robert was united in marriage on October 17, 1946 to Gladys Kathryn Shupert Henize, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Jim Schear of Dayton, Ohio and Patricia and Richard Shoemaker of Seaman, Ohio; one grandson Chad Simmons Israel of Los Angeles, California; two sisters, Pearl Herdman of Montgomery, Ohio and Edna Charles Dawson of Hillsboro, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman, Ohio. Steve Darby will officiate with burial to follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.

5-8 PM Tuesday at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
