Robert Lee Hester, 74 years of Leesburg, passed away on Wednesday April 10, 2024.
Robert was born in Greenfield on May 20, 1949, the son of the late Dorothy Hester. Besides his mother, he is also preceded by his wife, Karen (Lightner) Hester on October 11, 2006.
Robert is survived by his sons, Robert Hester of Leesburg, Randolph (Samantha) Hester of Greenfield and John (Tammy) Hester of Hillsboro, ten grandchildren: Thorne, Zach, Lane, Wesley, Tatjana, Hunter, Kenzie, Logan, Leah and Emily, six great grandchildren, Rhett, Taylynn, Colson, Priscilla, Mavrick and Paxton and numerous brothers and sisters.
Robert worked for over 35 years at Huhtamaki.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM on Monday April 15, 2024 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Gilboa Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday April 14, 2024 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
