Robert K. Van Horn, 95 years of Bainbridge, OH., died Tuesday Marc 10, 2015 at his residence.
He was born November 30, 1919 in Dayton, OH., the son of the late Russell and Caroline (Schaeff) Van Horn. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Kathy Lynn Van Horn.
Robert was a graduate of THE Ohio State University, a member of Alpha Sigma Pi, and retired in 1975 after 31 years from Wright Patterson Air Base.
On June 1, 1944 he was united in marriage to Geraldine (Lewis) Van Horn who survives; three sons, Ronald (Beverly) Van Horn of Big Pine Key, FL., Robert (Linda) Van Horn of Mt. Vernon, OH., Richard Van Horn of Mt. Vernon, OH.; one daughter Karen (Richard) Zedeker of Springboro, OH.; one brother, Russell (Betty) Van Horn of Tipp City, OH.; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services 1:00 PM Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens Chapel, 1639 E. Lytle-Five Points Rd., Centerville, OH. where friends may call Monday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.
