Robert D. Kley

Robert D. Kley, 80 years of Fairborn, formerly of Hillsboro, died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at the Patriot Ridge Community Center in Fairborn.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 29, 1924 the son of the late Anton and Virgie Ullmer Kley.
He retired from the Dayton Power and Light Company. He was a member of the Highland Lodge #38 F. & A.M. and Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Elsbury Kley, who passed away on August 31, 1997, son, Daniel Kley, daughter, Mary Lou Woods, and brother Emmert Kley.
He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Schaffer of Fairborn, sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and James Price of Dayton, Janet and Warren Smith of Kettering, Juanita and Kyle Marshall of Indianapolis, Indiana, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Roads Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
