Robert Davis Moore

Robert Davis "Bob" Moore, 84 years of Hillsboro, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2006.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 12, 1921 the son of the late Thomas and Mattie Campbell Moore.
He was a faithful member of the Berrysville Christian Union Church, where he served as Treasurer, Deacon, and Sunday School Teacher. He retired in 1980 after thirty years of service from Horstman Printing Company in Dayton.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Walker Moore, who passed away on February 9, 1963, daughter, Kathleen Moore, brother, Billie Moore, and grandson, Gary Wayne Storms, Jr.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Daryl A. and Katonda Moore of Dayton, three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Frank Maiden of Richmond, Indiana, Linda and Mike Bartee of Dayton, Sherry and Gary Storms of Hillsboro, eleven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro Church of God, 5760 U.S. Route 62, Hillsboro, OH 45133, with Rev. John Maggard, Rev. Mike Bartee, and Rev. Marcus Tolle officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro Church of God.
Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
