Robert W. Satterfield

Robert W. Satterfield, 86 years of Cincinnati, formerly of Seaman, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Llanfair Retirement Community.
He was born in West Union, Ohio on May 21, 1922 the son of the late Harry and Anna Lu McClanahan Satterfield.
He was a U.S. Marine Veteran of World War II and a retired office manager of Park County REMC.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Maxine Satterfield, who passed away in 2001.
He is survived by his daughter Sandra Chetty of Fremont, California, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Sam and Mary Lou McClellan of Seaman, Dean and Leah Jane McClellan of Seaman, and Nan Guthrie of Englewood, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Nate Manzo and Jan Ledford co-officiating. Burial will follow in Tranquility Cemetery with a military graveside service by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
Memorials may be made to Llanfair Life Care Fund, 1701 Llanfair Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45224 or the Seaman Presbyterian Church.
