Robert M. Sheppard, 52 years of Sinking Spring, died Thursday, August 15, 2002 at his residence.
He was born in Holyoak, Massachusetts on July 11, 1950 the son of Clyde H. and Betty J. Rhoades Sheppard.
He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Buckeye Vanners Inc. He retired after 32 years as a material handler for American Electric Power.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde H. Sheppard.
He is survived by his wife, Mary P. Helterbrand Sheppard of Sinking Spring, mother, Betty Sheppard of Sinking Spring, daughters and son-in-law, Sara and Nick Ewing of Sinking Spring, Jessica Sheppard of Sinking Spring, and two grandsons, Trea Ewing, and Taylor Ewing.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Rev. John Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
