Robert C. "Buckwheat" Stevenson, 62 years of Hillsboro, Danville Community passed away Friday February 7, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Highland County on July 22, 1951 the son of the late Howard W. and Alvina Botts Stevenson.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Sibrel Stevenson whom he married on December 30, 2004; son Charles Stevenson at home; two daughters Michelle Jose Godines of Cincinnati, Christina Chris Graham of Hillsboro; step daughter Connie Humphrey of Hillsboro; step son Jeff Wood of West Virginia; three sisters, Rose Ann Lewis of Mowrystown, Mary Jane Zinsile of Goshen, Alvina O'Dierno of Greenfield; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
