Robert Charles Tensing

Robert "Bob" Charles Tensing, 78 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday April 11, 2016 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
He was born in Cincinnati, OH on December 15, 1937, the son of the late Albert and Esther (Hicks) Tensing.
Robert served in the United States Navy and worked at General Motors for 30 years. Robert was a member of Amvets, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and a social member of Legion of Bainbridge.
Robert is survived by his wife, Janet Tensing, whom were married on August 2, 1980; one son, Richard Tensing of Mason; four daughters, Cindy (Jeff) Reverman of Cincinnati, Sheri Ledars (Mike) of Indiana, Tamera Ridner of Mason, and Stacy (David Baker) Tolle of Springboro; sister, Sue Ann (Don) Hessler and family of Okeana, OH.; eleven grandchildren, Chisti, Jon, Kerri, Nikki, Carly, Randy, Wade, Matthew, Stacey, Becky, and Sarah; and 5 great grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Stryker, Alela, and Gina Lynn.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday April 15, 2016 at the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union with the Rev. Gary Huffman officiating. Burial will follow at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call at 12:00PM until time of services on Friday at the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union.
