Robert Joseph Traylor Sr., 68 of Hillsboro, formerly of Lebanon, OH and West Melbourne, Fl, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at Hillsboro, OH
He was born in Lebanon, OH on November 8, 1940 the son of Stanley and Dorothy Melampy Traylor.
He attended the Heritage Baptist Church, West Melbourne, FL, and was a member of the Crossroad Church of the Nazarene, South Lebanon, OH.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Earl Traylor and one sister, Julia Atkins.
He is survived by his devoted wife Kimberly Bartrum Traylor of Hillsboro, six sons, Robert Joe Gail Traylor, Jr., of Lebanon, OH, Brian Keith Bernadeth Traylor of Monterey, CA, Rodney Shane Traylor, Thad Anthony Traylor, Kris Gene Traylor all of Beattyville, KY, Jeremy Craig Traylor of West Melbourne, FL, two daughters, Robin Lynn Bill Huff of Booneville, KY, Heather Renee Jeremy Greene of Hillsboro, OH,
Fifteen grandchildren, two brothers, Paul Traylor of Mason, OH, Larry Theresa Traylor of Melbourne, FL, three sisters, Jean Shelley Johnson of Lynchburg, OH, Ramona Ron Goodman of Melbourne, FL and Tammy Vincent Venters of Middletown, OH.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Ron Goodman and Robert Highley officiating. Cremation will follow
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
