Robert L. Walters, 69 years of Winchester, died Monday, February 6, 2006 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia.
He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on February 10, 1936 the son of the late Ira and Virginia Berry Walters.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Winchester United Methodist Church, Committeeman for the Democratic Party, the Winchester American Legion Cameron-Ellis Post #242, the Winchester Good Start Committee, and retired from the Cincinnati Post.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Toby Dancer, and one sister, Diana Dancer.
He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Sharon Ramey Walters of Winchester, two sons, Christopher Walters of Wylie, Texas, Patrick Walters of Honolulu, Hawaii, three daughters, Elizabeth Walters of Burlington, Kentucky, Suzanna Walters of Milford, Virginia Walters of Winchester, three brothers, Jack Dancer, Jim Dancer, and Terry Dancer all of Dayton, one sister, Judy Dancer of Dayton, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Winchester United Methodist Church with Rev. John Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Graceland Memorial Gardens with military graveside rites.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester.
