Robert L. Wise

Robert L �Bob� Wise, age 72 of Greenfield, died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at his home in Greenfield, Ohio. He was born May 19, 1937 in Greenfield, the son of the late Lawrence and Bessie Silcott Wise. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Lawrence McMullen.

Robert was the owner/operator of the Standard Oil Company now British Petroleum Bulk Plant in Peebles, OH. He was very active in the Peebles United Methodist Church, and was the head of the trustees when the new building was erected.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Beverly Foraker Wise, two sons and daughters in law, Steve & Sheryl Wise of Greenfield, Alan & Jessica Wise, of Greenfield, a step sister, Anna Lou Lucas of Greenfield, a step sister-in-law, Kathleen McMullen, Greenfield, five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two uncles and

numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Peebles United Methodist Church with Chaplain Steve Zinzer, Pastor Wayne Edingfield and Pastor McCellan Nicholson officiating.

Friends may call on Friday evening from 4:00 till 8:00 PM at the Peebles United Methodist Church and one hour prior to service on Saturday morning.
