Robin Scott Fisher, age 61 of Los Angeles, California, passed away November 11, 2013.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on Arpil 22, 1952 the son of the late Donald and Billy Jo Keplinger Fisher.
Robin was a professor of Neuroanatomy at UCLA Medical School and a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania and received an award for his excellence from both universities; UCLA is creating an undergraduate prize in Robin's name for Pre-Med students who are also majoring in literature. He also enjoyed classical music and had an extensive collection of cd's which are now with Peebles High School Music Department.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Jacobs Fisher of Los Angeles.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Locust Grove Cemetery with Bill Christman officiating. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
