Roger C. Chambers, 70 years of Seaman, died Friday, August 3, 2001 at his
residence.
He was born in Adams, County on June 20, 1931 the son of the late Fred B. and Ethel Grace Hill Chambers.
He was a member of the Seaman United Methodist Church, Winchester #236 F&AM, Charter member of Seaman Life Squad, Past member of the
Scott Township Fire Department, North Adams Senior Citizens, was a inspector for 22 years for the Copeland Corporation and a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Ethel Osman Chambers of Seaman, two sons and daughter-in-law, Steven D Chambers of Harrisburg, OH, William E. and
Anita Chambers of Normal, IL, one granddaughter, Nicole Chambers of Springfield, IL, one grandson Paul Chambers of Bloomington, IL., four brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Martha Chambers of Seaman, OH., Dale Chambers of Dayton, OH., Paul and Marilyn Chambers of Mason, OH., Delano Chambers of Bethel, OH., special cousin Dorothy Williamson Williams of Marshall, OH., several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of Friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Seaman United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow with military graveside services by the Adams County Honor Guard in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. with Masonic Services at 8:45 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman.
