Roger L. Deardoff

Roger L. Deardoff, Sr., 70 years of Alexandria, KY formerly of Sinking Spring Community, died at his residence.
He was born at Cincinnati, OH on May 1, 1939 the son of the late Foster and Donna Wass Deardoff. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Ann Blair and Darlene Deardoff.
He was a US Army Veteran and was a Maintance Manager.
He is survived by two sons an a daughter-in-law, Roger and Cathy Deardoff of Alexandria, KY, Tommy Deardoff of San Antonio, TX, one daughter, Sherry Deardoff of Lufkin, TX, one step daughter, Tracey O'Cull of Hillsboro, one grandson, Jonathan Deardoff, one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Marilyn Deardoff of Mainville, OH, one sister, Mary Williams of Hillsboro, several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Brad Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Saint's Cemetery with Military Graveside Services by the Highland County Honor Guard near Sinking Spring.
Friends may call at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 till time of service at 3:00 P.M.
