Roger Dean Quickle, 71 years of the North Union Community, died Sunday, October 14, 2001 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
He was born in Wilmington, Ohio on October 3, 1930 the son of the late Dana L. and Florence Fraysier Quickle.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar and Elmer Lee Quickle, and two sisters, Virginia Main and Violet Baker.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Leota Edingfield Quickle of the North Union Community, sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Deborah Quickle of Hillsboro, Jeffrey W. and Leanna Quickle of New Vienna, five grandchildren, Chad Quickle, Terry Quickle, Kenny Quickle, Amber Quickle, Kyle Quickle, four great grandchildren, Kendra Quickle, Chelsea Quickle, Kenneth Quickle, Mathew Quickle, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Lillian Quickle of St. Mary?s, Ohio, Richard and Alberta Quickle of Hillsboro, two half brothers, Jerry L. Quickle of Greenfield, Howard Quickle of Springfield, and half sister, Pauline Hester.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2001 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Wayne Edingfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
