Roger W. Ritter

Roger W. Ritter, 88 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Highland District Hospital.
He was born at Dayton, OH on January 20, 1923 the son of Fredrick William and Lyda Tarr Ritter. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Fred Ritter, father-in-law, Howard Lee Hawkins.
He was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, a WWII Army Veteran, Life Member of the VFW, life Member of the DAV, and retired from Hobart Corp.
On March 29, 1974 he was united in marriage to Anna Louise Hawkins who survives, five daughters and sons-in-law Bonnie K. Newman of West Milton, Connie Lou and Newton Uyema of Hawaii, Debbie Ann Ritter, Christine and Donald Mosely of Sardinia, Barbara and Brandon Ford of Waynesville, mother-in-law, Helen Hawkins of Hillsboro, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildlren, one great great grandchild
Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Resthaven Memory Gardens with Military Honors by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 12:00 noon till 2:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home
