Roger Kelly Thompson, 64 of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Highland District Hospital.
He was born at Jeffersonville, Ohio on April 18, 1950 the son of the late S. Lester and Naomi (Hall) Thompson.
He was a member of the Hillsboro Freewill Baptist Church, a self employed Contractor, owned and operated Papa's Kettle Corn.
He is survived by his wife Jerrilyn (Harris) Thompson; three daughters, Michelle Thompson of Hillsboro, Kelli Gibson of Las Vegas, Shenna Thompson of Las Vegas; step son, Vernon (Joy) Harris of Grove City; 8 grandchildren, Justin Thompson, Jeremy Thompson, Devin Russell, Hunter Gibson, Jordan Harris, Amanda Evans, April Stevens, Jessica Harris; 3 great grandchildren; one brother, Nelson (Pam) Thompson of Hillsboro, Ohio; two sisters, Mary (Jerry) Patton of Brecksville, Ohio, Janet (Nelson) Dotson of Seaman, Ohio; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Richard Burns and Troy Dotson will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dunn's Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 noon till time of service at 2:00 PM.
