Ronald A. Green, 61 years of Lynchburg, died Saturday, July 13, 2002 at the Highland District Hospital.
He was born at Beech Grove, Indiana, on June 13, 1941 the son of Raymond H. and Neva L. Swartz Green.
He was a member of the New Market Baptist Church and was a self employed Semi Truck Driver.
He was preceded in death by his mother Neva L. Green and sister-in-law Jean Ayres.
He is survived by his wife of forty three years, Nancy Bloom Green, father, Raymond H. Green of Hillsboro, three sons and daughters-in-law, Steve Green of Hillsboro, Tim and Nancy Green of Hillsboro, Tom and Ann Green of Hillsboro, one sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Bob Morris of Hillsboro, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Ruth Bloom of Hillsboro, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Henry Garbett of New Richmond, nine grandchildren, Mandy Green, Bethany Green, Brandon Green, Ryan Green, Kyle Green, Amber Green, Lita Valdez, Sophelia Valdez, Nita Valdez, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Harold Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in the New Market Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 5:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
