Ronald C. Speers, 65years of Winchester, died Friday, October 28, 2005 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born at Kingsport, Tennessee on March 12, 1940 the son of the late Esmond Lloyd and Gerogia Louise Cornett Speers.
He was a Plummer & Pipe Fitter for the Pipe Fitters Union Local 162, and a US Army Veteran.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one son Terry Speers, one daughter, Melody Suzy Erkenbrecher, one brother David Speers, one sister, Sandy Wisong, one sister-in-law, Peggy Speers.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Dolly Coomer Speers of Winchester, three daughters and son-in-laws, Dawn and Dwayne Novak of Edinburg, Ohio, Cherry and Dale Garrison of Chesapeake, Ohio, Heather and Harley Rogers of Mainville, Ohio,
one son-in-law, Doug Erkenbrecher of Winchester, one daughter-in-law, Wanda King of Brookville, Ohio, two brothers Phillip Phyllis Speers of Morrow, Ohio, Sherrill Phyllis Speers of Cary, North Carolina 14 grandchildren, Wendi, Sara, Andrew E., Jordan, Daniel, Stephanie, Jennifer, David, Mathew, Andrew G., Kimberly, Justin, Alex and Corbin, six great grandchildren, Kirsten, Caylee, Logan, Emilee, Anslee, & Abby.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman, with Rev. Dan Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home
